A poem I wrote over a year ago - life is different now - but we all go through the rough times - so this is to show that life can be insane for any of us....
INSANE WORLD
She awoke -
tears of last night
still swarm in her eyes.
Body tense -
pain bearable
yet always present.
She greeted the sun
with volcanic sorrow,
grief beyond repair;
exhaustion that
drains the spirit
and
cuts through the soul -
heartbreak from life.
Unable to enjoy its
beauty.
Unable to give any
back.
Sanctity within an
insane world
kills.
